Hi I am Sasi Vijayan. I am a counselling psychologist and an expressive arts therapist.
I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. from European Graduate School (EGS) in EXPRESSIVE ARTS, after having completed a certification in “EXPRESSIVE ARTS THERAPY” from the San Diego university for integrative studies. I also have a master’s in counselling psychology, with more than 5 years of experience working with both child and adult populations. I am fluent and comfortable with both English and Tamil.
My approach to therapy is based on humanistic theories combined with expressive arts therapeutic interventions and techniques; this means the client is centered in the process and the therapy plan is customized to their specific issues, needs and goals.
I am passionate about mental health and strive towards enabling anyone seeking support to find accessible, affordable, and appropriate mental health services, irrespective of financial, social, or cultural backgrounds.
